So who am I and why does Picture This exist?


My name is Michael Jones and I’m a professional photographer. I started Christchurch’s first boudoir photo studio in 2019.


But I have a whole pile of ideas for photos (and I’m sure you have some too) that I’d like to try out. And for most of these ideas I need models, which is where you come in. These shoots will be on a TFP (time for photos) basis where no money changes hand. You’ll receive all of the final edited images, and in a timely manner.


I have too many flashes, many light modifiers (soft boxes, umbrellas, snoot, optical projector) gels for colour and a desire to use this equipment.


How this works


  • one of us (model or photographer) comes up with the concept for a photo session
  • if you haven't photographed with us before the fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page, below the photo carousel
  • all of our sessions work with our standard Picture This TFP contract. You'll receive a link to this, and a pre-session questionnaire, by email
  • come along for a fun photo session. Most Picture This sessions take place in my home studio at 24a Jocelyn Street, Casebrook. There is a private bathroom if changing is required.
  • after editing, your photos will be available to view and download in your own private, password-protected online gallery. You are welcome to download and use these images on a non-commercial basis
